Our cosy MONTEROSSO restaurant is only available to guests staying at La Scortica. This choice was made to optimise the quality of service that we offer. Our owner and trained chef Antonella uses only fresh seasonal and locally grown ingredients to create typical Ligurian dishes. Our rich fixed menu changes every day; reservation is advised. Vegetarian and Gluten-free options are available upon request; please advise us of any food allergies in advance.
Dinner is served at 20.00.
Our menu offers of variety of house appetizers: battered sage leaves, pumpkin flower pancakes, panizza (chickpea flour polenta), vegetables in oil and other snacks depending on the season. These are followed by a first course of fresh pasta: trofie with pesto sauce, courgettes and potatoes, or croxetti pasta seasoned with walnut sauce, or a lasagna Portofino-style, or testaroli with pesto and many other succulent first courses. Our second courses are meat dishes accompanied with seasonal vegetables. Our menu closes with a selection of delicious desserts, all washed down with a good local wine !!!
